We can offer you relaxed diving small groups or one to one introductory dives all conducted at your pace.  The main emphasis of these dives is on safety and fun and to give an introduction to the wonderful world of scuba diving.

For newly qualified divers we know that sometimes you need a helping hand on first dives.  We will provide all the help and encouragement needed to enhance your skills and gain confidence in your diving.

For the more experienced diver we will guide you to some of the best diving sites in the Mediterranean.  Also, if you require courses and certifications we can conduct all PADI courses up to and including Divemaster!

All our dives are conducted in and around the beautiful bay of La Herradura situated on the Granada south coast of Spain.  The area is where the mountains fall into the sea and consequently there are many undersea caves and pinnacles to explore.  This area is designated a National Underwater Park and in addition to the above natural points of interest the government are sinking artificial reefs and boats to increase the already rich diversity of life here on the Costa Tropical.

Accommodation can be provided, our apartments are located on the beach next to fantastic restaurants and bars.  Here you will discover the real Spain!

ABOUT ME

I am Barry Crosbie the owner of Costa Tropical Divers, I am a retired Police Officer and worked for 20 years as a personal protection officer to the British Royal Family. My varied duties were conducted in the UK and abroad and included the personal protection of visiting Royal families.   During my time as a Royalty Protection Officer I was involved in the selection and training of new officers combined with emergency first aid instruction.
